Women who rail against feminism, like those at IWF, work hard to present themselves as “pure,” whether it’s through promoting abstinence-only education and decrying hookup culture or kowtowing to conservative men’s agenda for women. It’s a survival technique: If they can paint other women as “impure.” then they’re safe from criticism. It’s a lot easier to attack other women, after all, than it is to attack a sexist society.

Jessica Valenti, The Putity Myth (via passions-misgivings-wants)

It’s cute that feminists, like Jessica Valenti, like to erase women’s problems with the feminist movement by labeling them as stuck-up, conservative prudes.

To all you non-virgin, non-white, trans, lesbian, bisexual, and otherwise politically aligned women that disagree with the sexism inherent within the feminist movement: Your voice doesn’t matter. You’re really just straight, white, conservative virgins trying to please men with your internalized misogyny.

For as much as feminists complain about not liking the stereotyping of women, they sure are good at stereotyping women that don’t agree with them.

Didn’t get a response to my previous post, so I thought I’d upload this picture. Good job Hillary, that’s right, men are in fact not the primary victims of their own deaths. Way to speak truth to power! This woman should have been president!

wow. i hope i’m interpreting this sign wrong.
i’m pretty sure that a vast majority of parents do let their sons know that the act of rape is NOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM RIGHT. on top of that society teaches us, by way of disgust towards the act of rape, that it is wrong. men know it’s wrong. women know it’s wrong. any decent human being knows rape is wrong. it’s truly disturbed people that force themselves sexually onto others.

stupidlitebritejacket:

I’ll believe that feminism is about equality when:

  • feminists fight to either abolish mandatory draft registration for men or fight to make it mandatory for women, too
  • feminists fight to give men ways to get out of parenthood/needing to provide for children they don’t want - you know, like they…
